Akhtar Hameed Rana Vice Principal

Mr. Akhtar Rana is a proven leader and innovator with nearly 8 years of professional and academic experience. He is one of the founding members of the college team and currently leads administrative team as vice Principal at MCHEMT. With a passion for maintaining and delivering highest standards of quality and service to our students and stakeholder, he has successfully led the administration team of the college since its inception to gain accreditations from regulatory and professional bodies and establishing extensive network of overseas representative for the recruitment of students. With his strong interest in Computing and IT, he has also led the project for development of Management System for the college.

Akhtar is a qualified Chartered (CA), Management accountant (ACMA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is also a Java certified programmer (JCP) and developed an online banking system during this certification. He has excellent academic record and achieved top positions during his academic studies. During his professional accountancy studies he achieved certificates of Merit twice for securing top position in the whole country.

Prior to joining MCHEMT, Akhtar served as Vice Principal and senior lecturer in West London College. He lectures on Accountancy, Finance and Business Management Subjects. He has great experience of setting up financial and administrative systems and identifying potential risks. He has worked as Senior audit manager and Financial controller in the industry and lectures on accountancy and business management courses. He trained as an accountant with a leading accountancy firm.

Akhtar has strong interest in Corporate finance and Capital Markets. He intends to pursue PhD in these areas in the near future. His personal interests include travelling, reading, poetry, philosophy, Mysticism, History, Flying and Gardening.

Miss Shameem is member of the college administration team. She is involved in day to day administration and liaison with students, agents, guests and other stakeholders. 

Shameem came to the college with retail and customer service background in the financial services and airline industry, from which she gained strong customer service and administrative skills. She holds certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice apart from having Accounting Technician (AAT) qualifications at Intermediate Level. She is an open and approachable person who enjoys working with people, pleasant and tolerant whilst remaining firm and fair.
